AGM and Committee Elections
The AGM of the Moss Bank Park Model Engineering Society was held on the 9th February and the committee for 2025-2026 was elected.
Thank you to Stuart, Keith, Alf and Amanda who have continued in role. Welcome to Laura who takes on the role of membership secretary and welcome to Andy, Paul and John, who will be job sharing our new committee role of event co-ordinator.
We hope the addition of this new role will allow us to organise some exciting events for you over the coming year. Watch this space!

Christmas Trains
We are excited to announce that we will be running Christmas Trains at Moss Bank Park, Bolton.
Our special Christmas trains will be running in the morning 10:30 - 12:30 on Fri 6th, Sat 7th, Sun 8th, Sat 14th, Sun 15th, Fri 20th, Sat 21st, Sun 22nd and Mon 23rd December.
Rides are still only £1, so pop down for a ride and get into the festive spirit before enjoying the rest of your day.
We wish you a merry Christmas and hope to see you down at the track.
*Trains maybe cancelled due to bad weather.
Cancellations: Sat 7th, Sun 15th, Fri 20th.

Youth Volunteer Awards 2024
Investing in the next generation is something that we strongly believe in at Moss Bank Park Model Engineering Society so we are delighted to announce our Youth Volunteer Awards 2024. This year two children have been recognised for volunteering a considerable amount of their time to support the operation of the railway during our 2024 running season.
Our Chairman Stuart had the exciting honour of presenting certificates to Sienna and Callum.
A big well done and thank you from the team.
