About Us

We are a small group of volunteers who make up the Moss Bank Park Model Engineering Society. We are working to restore and develop the miniature railway on Moss Bank Park.

Our History

Established in 1986, the miniature railway on Moss Bank Park has experienced both amazing highs and hard times. It was founded by Albert Stones and first opened to the public for rides in 1987.

Community

We believe everyone should be able to make memories on our railway. Read about how we work with local community groups to provide educational visits and access for disabled or disadvantaged groups.

Get Involved

There are several ways you can get involved and support our work. From volunteering opportunities to supporting our fundraising efforts, you can help preserve this community asset for future generations.

Gallery

My parents brought me here when I was little and today I've been able to come back with my own children and make even more special memories.

It was just awful when you had your track stolen. I am so pleased that you have managed to recover and be able to run trains again.
